The Background

Kory Schmidt grew up around construction. His grandfather built. His father built. When it was his turn, Kory brought that three-generation foundation west — from Memphis, Tennessee to Colorado Springs — and started TruPeak Construction.

The name carries that lineage. "Tru" stands for truth and integrity — the values he watched his family bring to every job, every client, every handshake. "Peak" is the standard: reach the top of the craft. Not close. Not good enough. Right.

The Standard

Built with Skill.
Backed by Honesty.

"Integrity is our Highest Standard." — Kory Schmidt, Owner / Builder

At TruPeak, the finished product is only half the job. The other half is what happens in between — keeping homeowners informed at every step, showing up when promised, and making the hard call honestly even when it's uncomfortable.

"We bend over backwards to do right by our clients — even if it means we lose money." That's not marketing language. It's the standard Kory holds every project to, from the first walkthrough to the final punch list.

What This Looks Like

A Story Worth
Telling.

Kory's proudest project wasn't the biggest scope. It was a young couple — newly married, stretching every dollar — whose kitchen cabinets were failing. Replacing them outright would have blown their budget and forced a second mortgage.

Kory refaced them instead. Same quality result. A fraction of the cost. The couple stayed on budget, kept their equity, and got the kitchen they wanted.

That's the call TruPeak makes. Not the easiest one for the bottom line — the right one for the client.
